The Roots party running mate Justina Wamae who has since fallen out with her party leader Prof. George Wajackoyah has asked President William Ruto to consider legalization of marijuana.

Taking to social media, Justina Wamae reacted to a tweet by President Ruto when he had a meeting with the Jamaican delegation. Dr Ruto tweeted “Kenya looks forward to partnering and working with Jamaica in strategic areas of mutual interest such as tourism and sports for the economic development of the two countries. During a meeting with Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holmes in New York, United States.”

Justina Wamae whose Roots party made the legalization of Marijuana to be their main agenda in the just concluded 2022 general election, in turn replied “#Legalize Hemp.”
President Ruto met the Jamaican premier on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly annual meeting in New York, USA. He was accompanied with Ababu Namwamba, Alfred Mutua, Ndindi Nyoro and his director of communication Hussein Mohammed.
