Embakasi East MP Hon Babu Owino has declared that former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto are still playing a con game to fool Raila Odinga.

This comes after the lawmaker termed the current tribulations fcing Uhuru Kenyatta and his family to be stage managed gimmicks to show that Uhuru and Ruto are fighting while in real sense they are not.

Hon Babu went to twitter where he posted, “This NONSENSE of Ruto and Uhuru has started again. The duo shall not hoodwink us this time round. We are wiser. LONGEST CON. The CON is still ON. Uhuru wants Raila to confide in him as he confides to Ruto. Shameless”

This comes at the backdrop of the state downgrading the former president’s security. This was a move that many saw as being an indication that Ruto has decided to take on his predecessor who had campaigned against his bid.

Dr Ruto’s allies have turned the heat on the former president and his family as Nyandarua senator John Methu wrote to KRA requesting them to investigate the former president’s businesses regarding their tax remittances.

Nandi senator Samson Cherargei has also written to the Senate seeking to repeal the estate duty act which exempted former presidents Jomo Kenyatta and Moi from paying estate duty.

This is not the first time the celebrated lawmaker casted aspersions on the commitment of former president Uhuru Kenyatta to the Azimio La Umoja cause. On the day when the supreme court upheld William Ruto’s election the lawmaker predicted that it was all a con game and Uhuru was not genuine in helping Raila Odinga clinch the presidency.
