Embakasi East Member of Parliament has come out strongly in his sustained attack on the genuineness of former president Uhuru Kenyatta to the Azimio cause.

This comes a day after Babu Owino announced that whatever Uhuru and Ruto are doing, is just being pretentious to fool the masses that they are fighting while in the real sense they are together.

In a video posted by Babu Owino on his Facebook page, the celebrated lawmaker questioned why Uhuru was the first person to be employed by the president immediately he was sworn in as President.

“Who employs his enemy as a peacekeeper?” posited the lawmaker.

President William Ruto appointed former president Uhuru Kenyatta as special peace envoy to the East Africa region to facilitate his efforts in brokering peace among the warring groups in the region. He successfully brokered peace in Ethiopia after bringing the TPLF and Abiy Ahmed’s government to an agreement. Currently, he is in the middle of brokering a peace deal in the volatile Eastern DRC.

Hon Babu Owino further asked the former president to resign from his appointment and then join the Azimio La Umoja members in their planned rallies across the nation as a way to reassure Azimio that they are together

“To show that he is indeed serious, he must first resign then come to our demonstrations and sing Tibim! And Tialala!” Said the youthful MP.
