Former presidential candidate Jimmy Wanjigi has told off President William Ruto and his allies to stop witchhunt against Mama Ngina who is the widow of Jomo Kenyatta the first president and instead focus on Uhuru who is still alive.

 

The city tycoon who was at one time an ally of both former president Uhuru together his then Deputy president Ruto has at one time pointe out that the jubilee coalition that propelled Uhuru and Ruto to power in 2013 was formed in his house.

 

The safina party leader while addressing the congregation at power of faith church international termed the harrasment of Ngina Kenyatta as immoral and even quoted the bible saying that the bible teaches us to protect widows and orphans.

 

The businessman cum politician disclosed that it was a nefarious scheme to target former president Jomo Kenyatta’s property in the new crackdown of tax cheats.

 

He further vowed to resist the moves saying that they won’t sit and watch because if they don’t speak out, the government will be at liberty to seize other people’s wealth including his

 

“Going after Jomo Kenyatta and Mama Ngina’s property is now touching live wire. Because if you are targeting Mzee Jomo Kenyattas wealth, it means you can also come for mine.” Said Wanjigi
