Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina has offered his support for Embakasi East MP Babu Owino who is set to replace John Mbadi as the Orange party’s national chairman.

 

Ledama Ole Kina went to social media where he posted ” Am looking forward to the new ODM chairman Babu Owino , the most loyal soldier of Baba”

 

To which Babu Owino replied “With you as the MAA KINGPIN by my side we will deliver the KINGDOM of PRESIDENCY to Baba.”

 

Ledama Ole Kina added, “We will start by going around the country to re-organize the party and give it some meat! Recruit real soldiers like Jerry Rawlings Did and then hold a national Convention with a clear mission. Na lazima tutoe watu wa Njaa!”

 

 

This endorsement comes just a day after the Embakasi East MP had a war of words with John Mbadi who had cited frustration and being undermined by ODM ranks and file in a bid to oust him.

 

The former Suba North MP had even said that he is ready to step down from the position and leave the chaimanshio for someone else. He had served as ODM chairman for nine years

 

In a quick rejoinder, Babu Owino asked John Mbadi to make real his threat and resign so as to vacate the office for fresh leadership by the youth.

 

It remains to be seen if Mbadi will be shown the door and Babu Owino be confirmed as chairman given that he is being touted as the natural successor of the Raila Odinga voting block.
