Jalang’o barred from attending Azimio parliamentary group meeting in Machakos

Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwor popularly known as Jalang’o had it rough when he tried accessing the Azimio la Umoja party parliamentary group meeting.

The youthful lawmaker was stopped at the entrance with bodyguards asking him to leave as he was not welcome there. There were chants of “Go to statehouse!” As the guards remained adamant that he was not welcome.

This comes after the lawmaker joined 8 other MPs drawn from ODM and opposition leader’s bastion of Luo Nyanza visited president William Ruto at statehouse and pleged to have a working relationship with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

The lawmaker was adamant that he has no regrets whatsoever in meeting the president and that even if his party leader Raila Odinga told him not to go to to Statehouse he will still go.

“I am not happy because I have been hounded out of the parliamentary group meeting because I love Baba.” Jalang’o said after he has been hounded out of the meeting by goons
