The self proclaimed president of comedy in Africa Eric Omondi came to blows with Kiss FM presenter Oga Obina on Friday morning when Eric Omondi was being hosted on the morning show.

The two protagonists have not been in good books with each other as they have kept tearing into each other on social media and it was expected that there will be fireworks incase the two celebrities met.

Oga Obina had earlier on been opposed to Eric Omondi’s interview invitation by his co-host Kwambox with Obina saying, “‘I don’t like Eric Omondi Eric is a bully, he is childish and misinformed.. Eric Omondi will not come for an interview here and if he does I will leave”

Eric on the other hand had said that he will not attend the interview if Obina would also be in studio ” Nikifika Obina atoke aende alishe my dogs sausages huko nje”

Obina even set up conditions that Eric Omondi should adhere to before he shows up for the interview, among them not coming to the studio with his bodyguards. This set up an epic clash for the two comedians who have a love for drama.

In the interview, Obina bombarded Eric with provoking questions as he probed his dressing style and castigating him for walking naked without thinking about the younger generation who look up to him.

But what seems to have irked Eric Omondi to the point of rising and attacking Obina is when obina asked him to come out of the closet as it was a safe space.

“Just come out of the closet, people already know you’re out there, mtu unavaa thong, unavaa weave, unavaa heels..” it was at this moment that Eric sprang up and the bodyguards swung into action to separate the two celebrities.
