President William Ruto has made more appointments into government agencies and his allies have been the biggest beneficiaries, especially election losers who supported him in the last election.
This comes at a time when the president is keen to replace those whom he deems to be former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s loyalists with his own point people in key dockets.
David Maina will replace Anthony Njoroge as the Chairperson of the New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited Board, for a period of three (3) years.
President Ruto also revoked the appointment of Henry Kinyua as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the New Kenya Planters Co-operative Union and replaced him with Daniel Chemno who will be in the position for a period of three years.
Northern Water Works Development Agency has also been affected by the ongoing purge as Ruto revoked the appointments of Shaban Ali Isaak, Abdirahman Haji Yare, Suleiman Ali Gufu, Khadija Abdulahi and Raphaella Lentoimanga.
In their stead, Nasri Sahal has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Northern Water Works Development Agency, until July 4, 2025.
John Lekuton, Elias Shill, Christine Jepkoech and Osman Abdi Sirat have been appointed as members of the Board of Directors of Northern Water Works Development Agency.
David Muthoga has also been sent home and replaced by James Gathaka as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Tana Water Works Development Agency.
William Ole Maiyani has been replaced by Regina Ndambuki as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Tanathi WaterWorks Development Agency.
Former Nation Media Group CEO Linus Gitahi has also been shown the door as former Nandi Governor Cleophas Lagat replaces him as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Rivatex EastAfrica Limited.
Still in the changes, Lily Ng’ok has replaced Muthoni Kimani as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Industrial Estates for a period of three years.
Edick Omondi Anyanga is the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority, replacing Stephen Mwangi Karanja.
Sakwa Bunyasi has also replaced Caroline Kariuki as Chairperson of the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board.
Former UDA Gubernatorial Candidate for Isiolo, Hussein Tene has replaced Capt. Paul Rukaria as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya National Trading Corporation for three years.
Former Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu has been appointed as Chairperson of the National Housing Corporation, replacing Ben Gituku.
Mary Chao Mwadime’s appointment as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority has been revoked.
She has been replaced by Keiyo South MP Daniel Rono.
Samier Muravvej has been appointed as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kenyatta National Hospital, replacing George Opondo Ooko.

Charles Muriuki has been appointed as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Consolidated Bank Limited, replacing Peter Musei Ntoyian.
Robert Theuri is the new Chairperson of the Kenya National Library Services Board, for a period of two years, replacing Omar Jibril Mohamed.
Also shown the door is Dorothy Kimeu. Her appointment as Chairperson of the Board of the Special Economic Zones Authority has been revoked and was replaced by Ngenye Biwott.
Moses Wekesa is the new Chairperson of the Insurance Regulatory Authority, for a period of three years, replacing Mohammed Amin Sheikh.
Sally Njambi has replaced Wanjuki Muchemi as the Chairperson of the Board of the Kenya Investment Authority.
