Jubilee party to expel Sabina Chege and other rebels

Embattled Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has vowed to throw Sabina Chege together with other members of the party who pledged their allegiance to President Ruto and promised to work with him.

MP Sabina Chege, Kanini Kega Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo and Adan Keynan of Imbalambala have been apportioned the biggest blame as they are accused of organizing the rebellion.

The four have been singled out and served with letters from the party to appear before a discplinary commitee after a member petitioned for their removal from the party.

The lawmakers are accused of being disloyal to the party, advancing positions that are contrary to the party position and insubordination of the party leadership by not respecting party organs

Others who attended the meeting were MPs David Kiaraho (Ol Kalou), Irene Njoki (Bahati), Zachary Kwenya (Kinangop), Shadrack Mwiti (South Imenti), Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West), Amos Mwago (Starehe), Dan Karitho (Igembe Central), Stanley Muthama (Lamu West) and Joseph Githuku (Lamu), Omar Shurie (Balambala) and John Waluke (Sirisia).
