Azimio coalition has postponed its mega rally that was to be held at the Gusii Stadium on Monday 13th February.
The developments follows protests from Kisii leaders allied to President William Ruto led by former governor James Ongwae, who on Sunday asked Azimio to call of their rallies, saying they were not welcome in Kisii.
The Ruto allies intimated that they will not allow the former prime minister to incite the Gusii nation against the president when he allows Luo Nyanza leaders to welcome the president and even benefit from his generosity with development goodies.
According to organizers, the planned rally has been moved to Friday, February 17 in order to give room for proper preparation as well as enable County Governor Simba Arati spearhead proper arrangements for grand entry to Gusii stadium.
