JUST IN: Pokot south MP David Pkosing arrested over his involvement in cattle rustling

Pokot South MP David Pkosing has been arrested by the DCI officers and he is now headed to the DCI office headquarters for questioning.

The lawmaker has been mentioned severally over his involvement in the ongoing bandit attacks that have marred the northern parts of Kenya especially in the Kerio valley and Kainuk which have been named as bandit flashpoints.

Mr Pkosing is the owner of the now infamous white chopper that was even mentioned by Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya in his indepth analysis of the state of security in the region as he had previously worked as the Regional Commissioner for Rift valley.

Mr Natembeya accused political leaders of funding the bandits and giving them political protection as they conduct the heinous crimes that have led to many losses of life for both civilians and police officers.

The white chopper that is believed to belong to the Pokot South MP has been accused of distributing munitions to the bandits even as the government has launched a joint operation factoring in the police and KDF in a bid to deal with the menace once and for all
