Former Nairobi Governor Evans kidero has lashed out at Azimio leader Raila Odinga over what he termed as dictatorship in the Raila-led Orange Democratic Movement.

Dr Kidero who was once allied to Raila Odinga, has come out to praise the nine MPs drawn from ODM and Luo Nyanza calling them heroes who will liberate the Luo people from Raila’s sway.

“From my perspective, Raila has served his time, in 2027, ODM will be dead, and the only people who will be in parliament are the nine MPs who went to meet President Ruto and have disagreed with him on this meeting which are purported to be consultative,” Kidero said on Wednesday

Kidero who lost the Homabay County gubernatorial contest to ODM’s Gladys Wanga has urged the former premier to accept that Ruto is the president and that he should join the president in Uniting the country.

“I think it’s time he accepted his time had gone, let’s do what the president is doing, which is putting people together and creating jobs for youths,” he added.

The nine rebel MPs have been condemned by the party and proceedings to hound them out of the party are in top gear with the party serving them show-cause letters after a petition by Migori Senator Eddy Oketch.

Senator Tom Ojienda, MPs Gideon Ochanda, Caroli Omondi, Elisha Odhiambo, Paul Abuor, Mark Nyamita, and Phelix Odiwuor have come under criticism following their meeting with Ruto when they pledged their allegiance to Dr. Ruto and promised to support his administration
