Having seen their progress checked last week in Rome, Juventus return to Serie A duty on Sunday, when they host struggling Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium.
The teams meet in Turin, heading in opposite directions, as despite their defeat Juve are on the road to recovery from a 15-point penalty and have plenty to play for in the cups, while 20th-placed Samp seem set for relegation.
Players to watch: Juventus veteran Juan Cuadrado owns 12 personal victories over Sampdoria, his joint second-best tally against any side in his career.
Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini is primed to return from suspension to face Juventus, a side he’s scored twice against in SA meetings, including an equaliser in a 1-1 draw at this ground in 2014/15.
Hot stat: Juventus are the only team in SA yet to concede a goal between the 76th minute and full-time this season, while they’ve netted eight home goals in this period – the most in the division.

Juventus v Sampdoria – Juventus win FT
Masters of the 1-0 win, Juventus were dealt a taste of their own medicine last weekend, but they should surely build on Thursday’s success by getting the better of downtrodden Samp. The visitors can barely buy a goal, while their hosts tend to find a way past even the deepest defence – quite often through set-pieces.
