Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iceland will kick off their Euro 2024 qualifying campaigns when they face off in Zenica on Thursday evening.
With Portugal favoured to top Group J – and Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Slovakia also in the group – Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iceland will both be eager to start qualification on a positive note.
Players to watch: All-time top Bosnian scorer Edin Džeko (G64) has managed just two club goals in 2023, but has netted three goals across his last three international matches.
Iceland will hope midfielder Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson can bring with him some of the creative prowess that has seen him register five club assists in 2023 for Burnley.
