Ariane Grande Divorces Husband After only 2 Years

Ariana Grande has officially initiated legal proceedings to end her marriage to Dalton Gomez, her estranged spouse, following two years of matrimony.

The singer, known for her hit “Thank U, Next,” cited “irreconcilable differences” in court documents, a move that coincided almost simultaneously with Dalton filing his own divorce petition.

Their date of separation was recorded as February 20, 2023. Reports suggest they settled their affairs amicably, as they had a prenuptial agreement in place.

Ariana and Dalton have maintained a respectful relationship throughout the process and plan to remain close friends.

Shortly thereafter, Ariana began dating Ethan Slater, her ‘Wicked’ co-star, who promptly filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay. They share a 13-month-old son.

Ariana was seen without her wedding ring at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London, signaling her separation.

Dalton had visited Ariana in the UK earlier, while she was working on the ‘Wicked’ film, in an attempt to salvage their marriage, but it was unsuccessful.

Their friends and families have supported them through this challenging period.

Ariana and Dalton’s relationship experienced difficulties when Covid restrictions eased, affecting their dynamic.

Ariana was last seen wearing her wedding ring in public in April at a Jeff Goldblum concert in London.

Experts believe their prenuptial agreement safeguards their individual assets and incomes acquired before marriage.

Ariana, with an estimated net worth of $240 million, had a private wedding ceremony with Dalton in May 2021, six months after his proposal with a pearl and diamond ring.
