Award-winning scriptwriter Abel Mutua has expressed his thoughts following his business partner and close friend Phillip Karanja’s amicable divorce from Kate Actress.

On September 20, 2023, Mutua decided to emulate Kate and Phillip by suggesting that he would no longer be in business with Mr. Karanja.

In a light-hearted manner, Abel stated that he no longer wishes to be affiliated with someone who owns a BMW because he has recently switched to driving a Range Rover. He used to possess a Mercedes Benz.
