Confirmed! Newcastle Harvey Barnes `won’t play again until 2024!

Harvey Barnes won’t participate once more for Newcastle United for the remainder of 2023 due to a foot injury, Eddie Howe has disclosed. Harvey Barnes, 25, sustained an injury only 12 minutes into the Sunday Premier League encounter in which Newcastle routed Sheffield United 8-0.
Commenting on the injury, Howe remarked: “It’s an ailment affecting a part of the foot just below the toe. I believe it’s quite a significant issue.”
“I won’t delve into too many technical details as I lack the qualifications, but indeed, it’s an exceptionally unusual injury.”
Nevertheless, it has now been disclosed that Harvey Barnes will be absent for the following three months due to an ailment beneath his toe, though surgery isn’t necessary.
Eddie Howe discussed Harvey Barnes and the injury he suffered during a conference on Friday ahead of Newcastle’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday.

Harvey Barnes will be sidelined until 2024

The Magpies manager said: “We think he’s going to be out for around three months. No surgery required, which is good news, but his foot is now in a boot.”
“It is an injury underneath his toe and he’s now started his recovery,” the Newcastle United manager said about Harvey Barnes.
“I think he’s going to be quite sedate for a period of time because he’s got to rest the toe, he’s got to give it every chance to recover and then we’ll have to build him up slowly, so that’s why it’s the three months.”

He also added: “It’s come at a shocking time for Harvey. He was beginning to find his rhythm. With so many games coming up, it’s a huge blow to lose any player.”
“We have to deal with it, accept it and we wish Harvey Barnes a speedy recovery.”
The Englishman made a move to Newcastle United for approximately £38 million from his childhood club Leicester City following their relegation to the Championship.
The former Leicester City athlete is slated to sit out roughly 20 matches for Newcastle in all competitions as the club handles domestic responsibilities along with group-stage fixtures in the Champions League.
Harvey Barnes will also be absent for both home and away matches against fellow Group F adversaries Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, along with a home game against AC Milan.
