He emphasized that his trips play a significant role in strengthening Kenya’s diplomatic relationships and generating employment prospects for Kenyan citizens.

Furthermore, Ruto disclosed that he is presently engaged in negotiations with Saudi Arabia to establish employment opportunities for 350,000 Kenyans. He also revealed his intentions to finalize a formal bilateral agreement with the kingdom during his forthcoming visit in three weeks.
“I have been traveling abroad because it is part of my job as the president,” Ruto said. “I am building relationships with other countries, which will benefit Kenya in the long run. For example, I am currently talking to Saudi Arabia about creating 350,000 jobs for Kenyans. This will be a huge boost for our economy.”
Ruto’s reaction follows the discontent voiced by numerous Kenyan citizens who disapprove of his recurrent journeys, contending that they are overly costly and believe the president should concentrate on internal matters. Nevertheless, Ruto asserted that his travels are crucial for advancing Kenya’s economic progress.
