In the city of Mombasa, King Charles III, holding the esteemed position of Captain General of the Royal Marines, and Queen Camilla are scheduled to pay a visit to the Mtongwe Naval Base. During their visit, Their Majesties will have the opportunity to observe a demonstration of a clandestine beach landing by Kenyan Marines who have received training from the Royal Marines. This demonstration exemplifies tangible defense collaboration between the two nations.
Furthermore, Queen Camilla will engage with survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, gaining insight into the support systems available to them while also sharing her own experiences and perspectives garnered from her involvement in this critical area.
