The 18-year-old performer shared the exciting update with his supporters, announcing that the highly awaited track is currently accessible on multiple online music services.
“Young, gifted, and making moves! 🌟 dropped a banger with none other than @wizkhalifa and @moeazy 🎤🎶 ‘Same Block’ is out now on all digital sound platforms. This is your reminder that dreams know no age – chase them relentlessly! 🚀💪 #SameBlock,” Trio Mio shared.
The track, which became available 48 hours ago, includes the participation of two additional performers, namely Anweezy and Moeazy.
The initial announcement of Trio’s collaboration with Wiz Khalifa was made by Jinx, the manager responsible for artist relations at Boomplay.
“In my opinion, collaborations are crucial to creative development. As an example of how working with well-known musicians may boost a young artist’s profile.           It’s also important to develop the sound further,” Jinx stated.
“Indeed, the collaboration with Wiz Khalifa is a major step in the young rapper’s career with the possible music project expected to hit the airwaves in August,” Jinx added.
The rapper commenced his musical journey in 2019 when he launched his initial track, ‘Vile Inafaa’ (also known as ‘Bazeng’), which was produced by JB.
His significant breakthrough occurred in 2020 when he released ‘Cheza kama wewe,’ a song that rapidly gained dominance in the Kenyan music scene.
This track garnered even more attention after he joined forces on a remix with Mejja, Exray, and Nellythegoon.
Despite being only 18 years old, this youthful rapper has consistently delivered hit songs that have climbed to the top of the charts, including ‘Cheza kama wewe,’ ‘Vumilia,’ and ‘Bazenga-vile inafaa.’
