Akothee reveals her husband almost killed her

Esteemed Kenyan songstress and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, also known as Akothee, recently engaged in a live broadcast on TikTok alongside her manager, Nelly Oaks.
During the live stream, Nelly Oaks was observed in the kitchen, cooking for the singer, who was situated in the lounge, engaging in conversation with him and the audience.

The manager disclosed that he was creating a distinctive meal for Akothee, motivated by a special occasion.
“You really can’t come to the kitchen. This is a special dinner for a special person like you. It’s a surprise,” Nelly was heard telling Akothee when she asked him whether she could help in the kitchen.
In that particular segment, the mother of five repeatedly referred to Nelly as ‘bae,’ a term commonly employed between romantic partners.
The 43-year-old artist proudly spoke about Nelly’s affection for her, simultaneously making jest of her past marital issues with Denis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer.
“It’s very good to be loved, I had gone there (to Schweizer) thinking it was, ati greener pastures, it burned me!!.. Ati mzungu wueh!!” Akothee said.
She continued to talk about her troubles with her white ex-husband, saying, “The white man almost killed me, I will come and explain to you one day.”
In that timeframe, Akothee emphatically dismissed women who confessed to being drawn to her manager, asserting that he is already in a relationship with her and not open to others.
The singer, in a sarcastic tone, suggested to the interested women to seek out her ex-husband, Denis Schweizer, mentioning that the white man is presently unattached.
“Why are you clinging to Nelly Oaks? Don’t go and get Omosh, go and get Pakistani Omosh. He is the one who is single,” she said.
This occurs shortly after the mother of five verified that her union with the Swiss man had reached an irreparable state.
She affirmed this revelation during a live interaction with her followers on social media.
In the segment, she acknowledged concluding her brief marriage in June, a decision made while she and Omosh were on their honeymoon.
“I have moved on from those relationships. They don’t exist anymore. I want to tell you that I got out of that relationship in June. However, I will not explain in detail,” Akothee said.
Adding, “I enjoyed my marriage, I enjoyed my wedding. I don’t regret anything. I had my wedding on my birthday so if things went wrong, like they did, then I wouldn’t have any regrets.”
